DACHfest Cloud 2019 - Google DevFest Series

DACHFest Cloud is the first cloud focused installment of the nonprofit tech conference DACHFest. Organized and prepared by various Google Developer Groups (GDG) and Women Techmakers (WTM) communities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

GDGs and WTMs are open, volunteer geek communities who carry out exciting projects and share experience about Google technologies and technology in general.

Guidelines

The deadline for submissions is the 31.10.2019. Submitters will be notified of acceptance by 7.11.2019

Talk proposal should include the following information:

  • Speaker information (name, email)
  • Title and a short abstract (1-2 sentances)
  • List of key messages in the talk

By submitting a talk, you agree that at least one of the authors will attend the talk and present it.

Formats

Lightning Talk
Our lightning talks are 10 minutes long. The talk ends at the ten-minute mark, regardless of whether the speaker has finished. We're looking for talks about any part of your Cloud experience that focus on early stage ideas, project or case studies. Please present a facet of the idea clearly and succinctly. Few rules are applies here don't give a straight sales pitch, your slides will run on one computer for all lighting talk speakers. Lightning talks are an excellent forum for first-time speakers!
Keynote
Inspire all of the Attendees there can only be ONE!
Talk
20 or 50-minute talks with an additional 5 minutes for Q&A. Reserved for experienced speakers covering large topics. If you have an in-depth topic you would like to present in some detail, perhaps with considerable discussion.
