Forward Data

Welcome to the CfP page of the Forward Data Conference, organized an event dedicated to accelerating careers, growing teams, and shaping the future of the French Data community in Paris.

Our mission is to build a conference that serves as a dynamic knowledge-sharing hub, where every participant can find their place and thrive. We envision an environment where entire teams can gather, learn, and grow together, regardless of their individual profiles or areas of expertise.

We believe in the power of the T-Shape approach, where one can deepen their understanding in their main field, while also expanding their knowledge in other areas. This conference is an opportunity for all to broaden their horizons and explore new facets of the data world.

We also aim to foster a culture of best practice sharing, where teams can learn from each other's experiences, successes, and challenges. And we strive to break down silos and generate empathy among all practitioners: we are sure that by understanding and appreciating each other's roles and contributions, we can build a more cohesive and effective data community.

CfP and Talk Rules

• We welcome CfPs in both English and French
• Required level for any subject should be intermediate to advanced
• Submissions can focus on various aspects of the data world, such as Strategy, Organisation & Products, AI & ML Engineering, Data & Analytics Engineering.
• First-time and diversity speakers are welcomed. We are happy to provide guidance and help in preparing your talk for a limited number of proposals.

Review Process

• Your submission will be reviewed by the Forward Data Program Committee, composed of members of Hymaïa, Modern Data Network, Christophe Blefari, and other data professionals.
